As Coronavirus continues to spread in the United States, communities and organizations are taking strong but necessary precautions to slow the spread of this new virus, and our clients and partners have had to make some difficult decisions to help keep our country safe. Organizers are cancelling long-anticipated conferences, business people are avoiding travel and gatherings, and many offices are effectively closed. As a result of these changes, our team has had to cancel most of our filming for the next few weeks, and we are redesigning projects to meet these new challenges.
Because meetings of all sizes have been cancelled, we are now working with clients to produce virtual communications content. This includes keynotes, breakout sessions content, and organization-wide announcements - all of which were initially intended for a live audience. In most cases we are using content supplied by our clients, such as video footage shot by a local team, or self-shot footage captured by the speaker's mobile device or a personal camera.
Safety has always been our company’s top priority, and we are taking this threat very seriously. We are regularly sanitizing our office and our studio, we are constantly washing our hands, and we are encouraging teammates to work remotely. On projects that involve in-person filming, we are following the recommended guidelines to prevent the possible spread of germs. As the number of cases rises, we may pause filming until the CDC tells us otherwise.
Stay safe everyone!
