Dedicated local volunteers preserving a global treasure
After wrapping our shoot in Borneo with GAA Films and The Happy Prawn Co., our Boston video production team traveled to Bali and filmed the volunteers at the Bali Sea Turtle Society in Kuta Beach.
As with the Borneo Orangutan Sanctuary and the Sumatran Rhino Sanctuary, The Happy Prawn Co. provides ongoing support to the Bali Sea Turtle Society. We had the rare opportunity to observe and film mother sea turtles laying their eggs in the light of the moon - an unforgettable experience.
Most of the footage was filmed handheld with a Canon C200 using an on-camera microphone, a Sony a6500 on a Syrp Genie, and available light.
