A vital infrastructure project to give an old community new roots
In 2019 our Boston video production team visited Henvey Inlet First Nation in Northern Ontario, Canada, to film a case study video in partnership with GEI Consultants, Savanta, and Pattern Energy. At the time of the video shoot, the First Nation's wind farm had just become operational, and the community was breaking ground on new infrastructure projects to help the band towards their goal of self-determination.
Four years later we returned to film a follow-up video, to document the band's progress with updating their infrastructure, providing vital services like electric power and emergency medical care to their community, and creating new job opportunities. Over the course of three days, we filmed across the reserve and got a firsthand look at how Henvey Inlet First Nation is upgrading the infrastructure of their community to provide for generations to come.
